Jamaica is a Caribbean island country that is located south of Cuba. It is also a dramatically mountainous island, and it is surprisingly affordable when you compare it with other countries in the Caribbean. The population in Jamaica is about 2.8 million and its economy is mainly dependent on tourism, coffee and other exports, and Jamaica has an important history with Christopher Columbus. Jamaica is probably most famous for its stunning beaches and its festive, fun culture and its unique food. And these are our main reasons of why we want to spend our vacation in Jamaica.
2803,30 dollar of the budget went to the tickets. And 6745,73 dollars went to the hotel where we lived in a five star hotel in Kingston and Spanish town. And the other expenses went to food, expeditions and emergency cash.
The top tourist attractions we went to are Nine Mile. This is a village town that's famous as the birthplace for the legendary Bob Marley, and we wanted to visit the Bob Marley Museum where he is buried. And if we have some spare time, we would also visit the seven mile beach, one of the popular and famous beaches in Jamaica.
The dishes we were so excited to taste were Ackee and saltfish and bammy. Bammy is the national dish of Jamaica.
